Trump didn't become president in spite of being a raging piece of shit but because of it. Congressional Republicans choose to support him. Every day they do nothing to stop him.
If they don't see damage it's damning. If they do it's damning. Desperate to avoid accountability, they're willing to cheat to stay in office which is a crime, on top of all the others.
