Reactionary Calvinists don't believe good works get you into heaven. And they're belligerent extremists. They overcompensate. Good works keep you out of heaven. Salvation is arbitrarily determined by God. You might be fucked from birth.
Which drives them nuts so they decide you can know if you're saved. They determine their own salvation by divination, apparently, which seems fucked up to me. But they're saved, permanently and irreversibly. No take-backs. They persevere in salvation. .
As opposed to us. Therefore, a person who is saved, as known by obscure means, and obviously never done a good work in his life, like Trump, is superior of someone tainted by good works. In addition his wealth is a sign of God's favor
God doesn't love the poor, meek, and downtrodden. God loves rich assholes, the highest form. This is a revealed truth, with the certainty of fatalism. So they've sent scumbags to Washington for decades, apart from revenge for the Civil War.
