Republicans have a kind of dialect and jargon rooted in racist innuendo and exclusion. In places it is virtually patois, vernacular speech associated with a subclass that, in this case, has embraced its outré beliefs as a badge of honor as they fight for a return to an extreme, authoritarian form of patriarchy.
They are proud to be outcasts though they are hardwired into the seats of power so I think it's the persecutory delusions common to nutcases and seen in cults that encourage tribal identification and isolationist ideation. Which is to say they're incredibly fucked up and living in a demented dream state.
