How can any aware person not succumb to despair when confronted with the Republican assault on decency? I know it’s what they want—to make us feel defeated. But we are defeated.
Where are our heroes? We need a hero now. Someone who will speak and defend the truth. Lord, please give us a leader who is up to the task. I see no other way out. Leadership matters.
