The issue of Trump's White House portrait will inevitably come up. I'm fine with it as long as it shows him ass-side up with his pants down. He should be represented, to Democrats, as mooning them for fun and to Republicans as expecting them to kiss his ass which they all did with such ease and alacrity.

Finally, coming from Trump, we have as concise a statement of the Republican ethos as we can get. "Mine." Whatever it is, if they want it they will claim it. Globalization? We knew American workers would get hurt, but also that there would be overall benefits. 

Where did the benefits go? 

Workers should have gotten Scandinavian levels of social benefits. But, "mine." So declared the financiers and corporate flunkies. And it all went to them. All and then some. They even plunder the future. They are the "takers." It's been the biggest scam in history.

The Anti-Trump Paradox

Anti-Trumpism normalizes Trumpism by trying to handle it within a system which it negates, invalidates and undermines by its authoritarian ideology and criminal behavior. Trumpists are not customary combatants but non-state, international actors like terrorists. Therefore, the systems don't work.

The 'rule of law' is useless against them. They are its antimatter. Luckily, we have suitable infrastructure and means in place, thanks to Republicans, to handle such an existential national threat. Facilities at  Guantanamo and elsewhere, and approved methods such as 'extraordinary rendition' and torture.

All legally vetted, approved and tested by Republicans. They are a massively bigger threat than al-Qaeda ever was. We see immediately the appropriateness and necessity of the detention, isolation and quarantine of MAGA Republicans and Trump himself, the worst threat the country has ever faced.

Just wondering, what's the mouth version of 'hands up!' since it's Donald Trump's fucking mouth we have to deactivate? As long as the mouth is loose we are not safe.

Republicans, it's time to move on. Trump is coming unglued. I never believed you could find a bigger piece of shit than Bush but you did. Congratulations. 

Clearly, you'll never beat Trump in terms of character. I think it's impossible to go lower. You will have to turn your sights on destructive potential. Good news there.

I love this new idea of the President's authority to declassify things without following precedent, common sense or considerations about national security at all. Recreational Use

Trump's infantile 'mine' assertion of ownership of classified documents made me think of his abuse of his authority over federal stockpiles of medical gear during the initial covid outbreak--very much not 'his' but try to tell him that. This is someone who, having grown up so incredibly disadvantaged, needs to assert himself wherever and whenever possible. 

Anyway, that made me think of the awful possibility of another Trump presidency, a run for which is becoming more likely as the investigation into his crimes increases. So much dirt. And, that made me think of the even worse possibility that he will try to loose some nukes during another term, feeling the world has failed to treat him as well as he deserves.

Which is, of course, impossible because he is infinitely deserving as are all the American billionaires and brigands or they wouldn't have gotten so rich in the first place. I looked it up, the question of restricting the president's total authority over the use of nukes, and it's being considered in response to having the Trumpian man-child in office the first time. 

Immediately they distinguish between first-strike authority and retaliation but in the event of another Trump administration we will have to consider the possibility of recreational use since he's such a clueless, egotistical and arrested piece of shit. He will apply the 'mine' principle to the nuclear arsenal, making it his for a personal whim or private vendetta.

If you don't think Trump could provoke a nuclear exchange in a second term . . . what can I say? There are two classes of people in Trumpworld. Those he doesn't respect because they have knelt to him and those he hates because they haven't. Everyone is expendable. Only Donald matters.

People who are useful to him, his dupes, count for something. But that's a third of the country now. A surplus. And he's been shown all the goodies to ensure continuity of government in a nuclear exchange. First priority is to save his worthless ass if he's president. Trump must be stopped.

Graft Certificates

As we move further into complete Republican hegemony things are more open. In keeping with that the RNC has announced they are issuing graft certificates to true believers this Christmas. That, in celebration of the complete victory of corruption over decency and to further demoralize the Democrats.

These are not to be construed as booty or bribes but beneficence, they say, and are accepted everywhere except for a few woke businesses of the infidels but who cares about that. Democrats are utterly defeated anyway and only acting out of frustration. Resistance is futile. They know it and we know it.

I have a dream. I have a number of them but one is than Donald be made a dame. Consider that he clearly thinks he's royalty, he seems to need accolades more than anyone ever, and that he lacks the upper lip (stiff) to be made a Lord. I say we go for dame.

He anticipates them. Then he tries to neutralize them as any proper dame would, in defense of his holy self (and the realm). I think the hair, kind of a bouffant, is highly dame-worthy. He struts around like royalty, loves gold-colored everything and tries to improve the world. 

Just by being in it, though the world sometimes doesn't appreciate the privilege. How fortunate it is to have Herr Trump in it! He has German and Scots heritage like so many royals. He's combative as shit, a sure sign of his insistence on maintaining high standards.

Think of how many high schools there are in America. What if each had an award for the student who most embodied a mix of degeneracy and drive. 

Two things impress me. These would be seriously fucked-up people and there would be a lot of them. Here we have the Republican Party, their repository. 

Bigness causes trouble. Things that are out of scale. A billion of what? Incomprehensible. I point this out because I can't believe how many assholes there are.

Reassuring Stories for Supremacists

I want to blow my horn for seeing through the sham of J. D. Vance the minute I read his book. I saw it was Reader's Digest fodder in quality and content. Basically a big lie which I called it in my review--a bullshit story for people who want to wallpaper over injustice. 

That looks relatively innocent in retrospect. Vance has joined the Republicans who specialize in creating injustice. They love injustice and corruption. No hiding it now, which is a more recent development. They celebrate it, Trump's significant contribution to our nation.

They're wallpapering with injustice now. Hungarian dictator as decorator and so on. 

Trump made the hate open. He made the hate cool. Hate as a fashion. But it will lose its bite after a while. Fashions change. Open hate was outré when Trump arrived. Soon enough it will be boring. Will we return to decency and kindness or go all Kristallnacht? 

It looks like Kristallnacht. But it's playing out right now. Especially with the raid on Trump's lair. The minions are going nuts. Talk of violence. And Vance and lovers of corruption are okay with it. Not a peep against it. They're getting too fat off the fraud.

Government is a matter of marketing. Branding. Lies of false hope. And lies of resentment and revenge. Buy into this! And people get despair. They blame the Democrats. So it's more vicious than the usual scam. This is a scam with teeth. Death is there.

This is a mechanism. As such it's absolutely accurate because it's unconscious. No need to worry about what 'conservatives' are up to. They're telling us all the time. They are up to what they say we're doing. Maybe it is time to worry, now come to think of it, because they're accusing us of horrible things and saying we deserve to die. That we're traitors and scum and heathen and traitors--oh, already said that one.

But it's a biggie. With Trump, of course, a digestive tract attached to a brain stem, it's particularly true. There are no higher functions. Undoubtedly, true believers could use a way to pray to/for fearless leader whose persecution resembles that of Jesus, or Charles Manson, more every day. 'Trump is impeached a second time!' What loyal follower cannot remember this and have it resonate with Christ? The infidels don't know what they do. God has given us his son again in our time of need, to suffer for our sins and redeem us.

This is Trump's time on the cross. God's plans are always shadowy, so we don't know how closely Trump's agony will track like Jesus's, and if he will die and rise again or what, but we may pray stations of the cross, Trump-style, nonetheless, and add or adjust them as the persecution plays out. We know Trump is more than a saint, in any case. He is the Son of God, come again to save us from our enemies.

The trickery of the devil, practiced by perfidious Democrats, strengthens our resolve and is further evidence of Trump's divine nature and mission, not that it was needed. The corrupt world always rejects true divinity. You can't fool us. We are Christ's people and we were waiting all along for a second coming. The Catholic Church is selling churches all over. We will acquire some of these. 

Later, a cathedral. In these we will pray to/for Trump, but let's not get ahead of ourselves. Our master and savior is under attack. And our enemies are everywhere. Our hearts are wholly with him, whose presence on earth is a sign of God's love, though we know he has a few rough edges. These, the rough spots, are only to try the unbelievers. They must be challenged to accept him on faith alone.

And that's what it takes to believe Trump is anything other than the piece of garbage he appears to be. It's entirely a matter of faith.

The only question that should be left to consider about Trump is whether to hang him or shoot him. It's up to the courts to decide. 

I favor the firing squad. Potentially, it is more dignified to the recipient. And, another question. How many of the rest of them deserve it as well?

Emotional Support Assault Weapons

Republicans are pushing for the possibility of assault weapons being classified as emotional support necessities, on the advice of a doctor, like certain pets. Ronnie Jackson has asked to set the criteria. So certified, elect citizens would be exempt from the few remaining restrictions on where you can openly carry loaded and lethal firearms. Many Republicans say they do not feel safe without such a weapon always at-hand so they can stroke and cuddle it as needed to feel secure. 

When they feel actively threatened, reasonably or not, they can loose a few volleys and stifle a personal affront, or simply to relax and decompress, so to speak, since the act of blasting away is itself uniquely soothing and calming to them. Those who use gun ranges know about this. Air travel is especially stressful so they must also be able to shoot off their weapons in the cabins, they assert. Others can elect not to fly with they if they wish, but the airlines must be accommodating. 

Anything else would be an infringement on their rights and personal freedoms. This law will be passed as soon as Republicans regain congressional majorities, surely over the objections of the radical idiot Democrats who hate America and want to destroy it. I'm interested in the Irish-Catholic goons and bullies at Fox News and all over in 'conservative' circles because I see virulent American bigotry as a Scots-Irish thing. Those Irish and Scots groups are natural enemies. And, with so many mass shootings the motivation would soon fail to attract new shooters because it had become boring and no one would remember their names.

Confirmation Bias

What is it about these authoritarian Catholics on the Supreme Court? Don't they see who they're allied with? Southern Baptists, who aren't only racist trash their outlook is especially at odds with Catholicism. The hatred of life, creation and everything.

Did those Catholic justices become warriors at confirmation? Crusaders and apologists? I was confirmed. It didn't mean shit to me. But Catholicism meant a lot. I understood it differently, though, as a religion of love. As a religion that loved creation. 

Real Catholics would never presume to know the mind of God, to feel certain of their role or to believe they are saved. Real Catholics, if they deem the circumstances require action, would act with humility. Restraint. They know they might be wrong. 

And they would never engage in triumphalism. They would never take pleasure in any provisional victory and, because everything is provisional, they would inhabit a place of humility, self-scrutiny and circumspection. They would be Democrats.

We Have Known This

Further outcry ensues at the description of Donald Trump's carrying on around the sacking of our capitol. But we have known forever what a piece of shit he is. And we've known he's a fucking criminal. Don't ever think otherwise. 

All that's at stake is his support among the trash populating every cranny of the Republican establishment, the ass-kissers and boot-lickers of Trump's posse and entourage. But they're all pieces of shit and criminals and we've known it.
