The MAGA Pain Trust

Republicans have always had a pain trust. For years I thought it it was exemplified by Paul Ryan who, from his kegger days in college, had wanted to screw his fellow citizens, those who were deemed to fall below his idol Ayn Rand's idea of heroic humanity. Never mind that Ryan sucked off the state his whole life and married well. He still sucks. Like Mitch McConnell, come to think.

Real men shamelessly play the system. Their contempt must be reserved for those who don't do it well, who aren't cynical and greedy enough, to reach the private jet level maybe, but MAGA is about to take care of that. With huge firings. I'm not sure the working people who voted for Trump were paying attention. The billionaires were, but that's another story. Trump is coming after the Civil Service. 

With the kind of indifference to human suffering only MAGA can muster. And the working class morons who voted for Trump can't see it, that he couldn't care less about working people. He's used them now, possibly for the last time, so we'll see. Maybe Vance will try to spare them because he'll still need their votes, but they're cannon fodder to Trump. Cannon fodder in the culture wars. 

Which are mutating around and it will be interesting to see where they end up. Authoritarianism is a given. They all want that. Beyond it though there are divisions. Evangelicals at the nutcase end, and at the end of the nutcase end evangelicals who want to blow up the world to see Jesus and think Trump is destiny. But none of the factions really give a shit about working people. 

Pragmatic conservatives got their free trade. They're rolling in dough. They don't need the workers. The old money never gave a shit so ditto. We're primed for a bloodbath of the underclass. And Trump is bringing in some heavies. Like Stephen Miller who like to see suffering. Homan. Little Marco Rubio. Stefanik. And there will be others, characterized by a belief in creative destruction. 

Disaster capitalism. Because they don't get destroyed. They're making out like the fucking bandits they are. Total fucking crooks. All okay in MAGA world. Okay and good. Man as created by God. Base, purposeful and degraded. Discipline lifts them up. The same thing that lifts them up at home, dictatorial power, makes them good at business, also, they think. So it all works out.

Nor really. I only works out for them. Notice, in their version of it, there is no risk. To them. It's all a lie and a scam. The only motivation is to win. To beat us up. To put us down. Which they have. And they're loving it.
