The Supreme Court is still dominated by insane ideologues. The Bitter Pill Bill is still in place. Republicans are still insane culture warriors and experienced obstructionists.
Republicans have been working for decades to subvert the government and turn the country irreversibly into a Christian Nationalist theme park and a safe space for billionaire sociopaths.
Things are unbelievably institutionally and structurally screwed up. Republicans don't see Democrats as partners or legitimate citizens or maybe humans. Democrats have won some elections.
They better understand the revolutionary aspects of the situation. Republicans are fighting a war against a constitutionally legitimate America. It's probably führerbunker time for Herr Donald.
But he was always a tool. The American people and his generals failed him, no doubt. I'm not sure we've even won a reprieve. Democrats never got their heads out of their asses on this.
We are still on the way down.
