We're living in a Republican soap opera, with exaggerated characters and overblown plots. The old envy the young and begrudge them the opportunity to live, having fucked up their own time striving for position and buying shit trying to be happy. They chose inauthenticity. Now there's no way out, they're waiting around to die and they're taking everything with them they can.
